Kathleen Bourke Gombar: Nov. 12, 1927 - April 2, 2007

My dear Aunt Kay passed away on April 2, 2007. She would have turned 80 later this year. She lived so fully but she wasn't done. Lung cancer spread and took her from us while she was still having fun and still sharing her love.

Aunt Kay was one of those unique people that made everyone around her a little better than they were otherwise - a little happier, a little more loved, a little more alive. It has been a blessing to have her in my life and I know my brothers, cousins, aunts and uncles all feel the same way. She gave us her grace, her spunk, her compassion and we all soaked it up anytime we were around her.

The Bourke, McQuillan, and Gombar families are all very sad - but also very proud and grateful for having Aunt Kay in our lives.
